Hans Humrick, DPM

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine

Born and raised in Fresno, California, Dr. Hans Humrick received his Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Physiology from Central Washington University with minors in Biology and Chemistry. In college, he was involved in student government, volunteered for several community outreach programs, and was president of a student empowerment club. He graduated medical school from Western University of Health Sciences where he served as class president.

Dr. Humrick completed his residency at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, Colorado. He was appointed chief resident for the duration of his final year of residency and presented scientific posters at the nationally recognized ACFAS conference. He served on a mission trip to the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico focused almost exclusively on pediatric deformity correction. Dr. Humrick chose to further his education through a dedicated fellowship year with Kentucky Indiana Foot and Ankle Specialists in Louisville, Kentucky.

He has received extensive training in all aspects of lower extremity care including trauma, reconstruction and revision, diabetic foot care, limb salvage, bunion correction, sports medicine, joint arthroscopy, arthritis, and total ankle replacements. He has given academic lectures at multiple state meetings and frequently contributes to peer-reviewed medical journals.

Thorough communication is at the forefront of Dr. Humrick’s philosophy on patient care. He believes all patients deserve to be treated as the unique individual they are and not as a number. He is board-qualified in forefoot and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery through the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS). He has particular interests in complex forefoot and rearfoot reconstruction, revisional surgery, foot and ankle trauma, and total ankle replacements.

While not in the office, Dr Humrick cherishes spending time with his wife and two young sons. He enjoys the outdoors and feels just at home on the beach as he does in the mountains. His personal interests include physical fitness, jiu-jitsu, various sports, travel, and reading.
